DiDi (滴滴) is the main ride-hailing app and the easiest way to get a taxi without speaking Chinese — it has an English mode. Set pickup and destination on the map, choose a car class, and pay automatically in-app. Showing or entering your destination in Chinese helps the driver, and you can share your trip for safety.
