Hierarchy and respect matter. Greet the most senior person first. Exchange business cards (名片) with both hands and take a moment to read the card you receive rather than pocketing it. Dress formally, arrive on time, and expect relationship-building and meals before deals. Decisions are often made privately after the meeting, so do not push for an on-the-spot yes.
