Add a foreign card to Alipay

Alipay is the easiest way for foreigners to go cashless in China. You can add an international Visa/Mastercard directly. Follow the steps below.

   Download Alipay and sign up with your phone number.

   Go to Me → Bank Cards → Add Card.

   添加银行卡 · tiānjiā yínhángkǎ

   Enter your foreign Visa/Mastercard and verify by SMS.

   Use Scan or Pay at any shop. Small spend may skip the foreign-card fee.
